SDS Strong‑Drive Heavy Duty Connect Screw

The Strong‑Drive® SDS Heavy Duty Connector Screw is a 6.4mm diameter structural wood screw ideal for various connector installations as well as timber-to-timber applications.

Strong‑Drive® connectors have been designed and tested with specific types of nails, which are generally referred to as Structural Connector Nails (SCN).

CNA Ring-Shank Connector Nail

CNA Ring-Shank Connector Nail is tested and approved for use with Simpson Strong-Tie joist hangers, brackets, straps and nail plates.

CSA Loose

The CSA is a self-drilling Flat Head screw with a Type-17 Point tip suitable for installing construction connectors to timber structures. 

ESCR

The ESCR screw has a washer head and 6 lobe drive to aid installation and give excellent pull-through capacities.

ESCRC

The ESCRC is a countersunk head screw designed to connect two or more timber members together. The countersunk head gives flush fitting while allowing the timber members to close up firmly.

The ESCRFTC is a countersunk head screw with a fully threaded design to connect two or more timber members together. The countersunk head gives flush fitting while allowing the timber members to close up firmly.

SDWC

The Strong‑Drive® SDWC Truss Screw provides a truss and rafter-to-top plate connection as well as a method to fasten stud-to-top and bottom plate.

The Strong‑Drive® SDWS is the 2nd generation structural screw, redesigned with a patented SawTooth™ Point.

BA1.81/11.88

The BA Top Fix I-Joist Hanger is designed to be used where a heavy load/connector is required. It is cost-effective and used for structural composite lumber and high-capacity I-joists.

ABR255

The ABR255 is a hold down bracket designed for fixing CLT panels to concrete / timber floors and parapet walls. Very versatile, it is particularly resistant to shear loads thanks to its optimized geometry.

ABR

The ABR9020 and ABR105 reinforced angle brackets are designed for fixing CLT panels to timber floors and parapet walls. Reinforcing ribs provide enhanced performance.

NPB

NPB255 nail plate has been developed specifically to fix CLT panels to timber or concrete.

The revolutionary screw connector attachment, QDBPC50E, for installing Simpson Strong-Tie® CE-labelled CSA connector screws.

SDWS TIMBER SS Screw

The Strong-Drive® SDWS Timber SS Screw is a 7mm-diameter, Type 316 stainless steel, heavy-duty structural fastener suitable for marine and coastal applications where severe-corrosion resistance is a necessity.

MSTC78 Installation

The MSTC is designed to resist tension loads in timber-to-timber applications. This diaphragm tension strap tie utilizes a staggered nail pattern to help minimize timber splitting.

Simpson Strong-Tie tested and load-rated tension straps and fasteners are designed to minimize cost and maximize speed and precision — while providing the strength, versatility and reliability you depend on.

LDSS48 installed with QD WSV75SA Collated Screws

The LDSS light diaphragm spline strap is designed to be placed directly on top of CLT (cross-laminated timber) and other mass timber panels to connect them together. Unlike plywood splines, the LDSS does not require routing.
