Simpson Strong-Tie NZ Structural Engineer Daniel Scheibmair Elected to the Board of BOINZ

Simpson Strong-Tie New Zealand’s Specification Engineer, Daniel Scheibmair, has recently been elected to the board of the Building Officials Institute of NZ (BOINZ). Simpson Strong-Tie is pleased to be able to support Daniel in his new role and the Institute’s vision of “Improving the Quality and Performance of the Built Environment ".

Daniel notes that given his background as an engineer, “the divide” between the building control sector and design professionals & builders creates unnecessary tension to ensure compliant building outcomes. Daniel is looking forward to sharing his design and manufacturing background to complement the board and the Institute’s work as they continue their role as the guardians of building quality.
