Simpson Strong-Tie New Zealand is excited to announce the release of their next generation of masonry anchor screws – the Titen Turbo.
Gone are the days of unreliable sleeve type anchors that were difficult to install and inconsistent in their performance. In the last 5 years or so screw style masonry anchors have grown in their popularity due to their more consistent performance, but came with a minor draw back in that they required high torque to install, and had binding and snapping issues if the dust in the hole wasn’t dealt with correctly…till now. The new Titen Turbo’s thread design includes a revolutionary torque reduction channel giving dust a place to go ensuring trouble free installation while maintaining incredible fastening strength and reliability in performance.
These screws are ideal for a range of applications from fixing saddles and brackets to block, through to fixing timber to concrete. They come in hex or countersink head options ranging in size from 32 to 102mm. They install easily with almost any cordless drill or impact driver. To ensure maximum performance Simpson Strong-Tie also offer a matched drill bit for sale, available as a single unit alongside the 100 pack boxes of screws.
